Clear scope: Piase Medical Courier transports specimens, medications, documents and equipment. We do not transport patients — that's a separate, licensed service, and we'd rather be upfront about it.

Piase Medical Courier is a locally owned medical courier service based in Riverside, Southern California. Our 24/7 call center answers every call — a live person, day or night — and our dispatch team coordinates every pickup, from first call to signed delivery.

Additional fees

Three fees, printed up front — the same ones we quote on the phone. Everything else is the mileage rate above.

STAT / rush & after-hours	+25%	On the trip total for STAT and rush trips, and for service during nights (10 p.m.–6 a.m.), weekends and holidays.
Additional stops	$15	Per extra stop on a scheduled route, beyond the stops included in your route quote.
Wait time	$15	First 15 minutes at pickup are free; then $15 for every additional 15 minutes we wait.

Do you transport patients?

No. Piase Medical Courier is a medical cargo courier — specimens, medications, documents and equipment. Patient transport (NEMT) requires different vehicles, licensing and insurance, and we don't offer it.

How does the 2-week pilot work?

We run your route exactly as scheduled — same times, same stops — for two weeks at the quoted per-run rate, with no monthly commitment. If it works, we convert it to a monthly agreement; if not, you simply stop.

How is pricing calculated?

By route mileage: $40 covers the first 20 miles and each additional mile is $2. A 30-mile route is $60 per run; run it 5 days a week and it's about $1,320 a month. Multi-stop routes are quoted on total route miles. Three additional fees apply when relevant: STAT / after-hours service adds 25%, extra stops on a route are $15 each, and wait time is free for the first 15 minutes, then $15 per additional 15 minutes.

Can you handle temperature-sensitive specimens?

Yes — specimens travel in sealed, insulated containers, and pharmaceuticals in thermal bags. Tell us your temperature requirements when you request the quote and we'll match the packaging to them.

What paperwork comes with each delivery?

A chain-of-custody form signed at pickup and delivery, plus delivery confirmation with the receiver's name and time. Monthly route clients get one consolidated invoice.
